I decided to do a morning run. First thought of doing 8K, but I found I was keeping a faster pace than usual. So I decided to see where that would take me. When it lasted for 4K, I decided to try and not go down too much and just head for the house. Very pleased with my pace over my 6.5K. , Avg Cadence:79

Christmas breakfast run, Interval 6x 30″
I don’t know what I did to my left leg last week, but it’s been playing up after the 15K of last week. And I found out the feeling on the inside of my feet were two blisters. 🙁 With everything going crazy at work and Christmas concerts, I didn’t have time to run anyway. So today I decided not to go long, but to do an interval before our extensive Christmas breakfast. That was faster than I anticipated and fun. I forgot how nice it is to run in a bit of a drizzle. Well pleased, though I do feel my left knee, so I’ve got to go easy on myself. , Avg Cadence:76

Memorable 15K
I just wanted to do that run that felt impossible for a long time. I always thought of Wemeldinge as too much, too far. But today I decided to go for it. And it’s “only” 15K! And I made it in a terrific time. Well pleased.
I do need to get my shoes looked at though, as I felt the inside of both my feet chafing the soles. Felt the same at the X-Mas Trail, but attributed it to the short turns and stairs. (Added: came home to find a blister on one of my feet…), Avg Cadence:76

5K under 30, 5K @ 5:30
I planned a meeting this morning and I couldn’t leave the house before a quarter to nine, so I decided to make this a hard run. Started out half a minute under my regular pace, then needed to slow down after 2K, but was able to speed up a bit again later. All in all, I feel exhausted and did 5K under 30 minutes. Goal achieved, I guess. ;), Avg Cadence:77

Getting my start number for the X-Mas trail
I still needed to run after the weekend as I had way too much on my hands to do it then. So I decided to combine it with picking up a starting number for the x-mas trail run I was given by a friend with a knee injury. And I found out that 5K is a lot harder when you stop to talk in the middle. ;), Avg Cadence:78

Die Mosbacher Mauer ;-)
This was one steep hill to run up. The first part going up it was hard to even pace myself beyond a brisk walk. So I was disappointed with my stamina, but then found that I recovered reasonably quickly on the hill. All in all, happy I did it, and happy about how I did. , Avg Cadence:75

The 6 of Mosbach
Just did a 6km run around Mosbach this morning before more meetings. I need to find better routes though as I ran besides a traffic jam for at least 1km and alongside busy roads for at least 5. But I did do a run, so I’m happy. , Avg Cadence:77

10K morning run , 10K @ 7
I didn’t feel too excited about a long run this morning. But due to deadlines I hadn’t been able to run since Sunday, so I decided I had to. Lack of sleep didn’t help either. Between the second and third kilometer it felt terrible and I briefly considered turning back. Then discarded that idea as not being sportsmanship, so I continued. Between the fifth and sixth kilometer I dictated a new opening for my training in Munich on Saturday and that’s when I knew I’d be alright. ;), Avg Cadence:76
